Antaragange is a mountain located in the Shathashrunga mountain range. It is located three kilometers from Kolar in the direction of Kolar Betta, the series of mountains that form the temple backdrop. This is a sacred spot consecrated with a temple and tank which receives water from a spring. Behind the temple there is a route leading to the forest, the hills of Antaragange are a perfect spot for trekking, rock climbing, night navigation and other adventure activities.

Antharagange Caves
This place is famous for the temple situated on the mountain. In the temple is a pond which gets a continuous flow of underground water. The mountains have a lot of caves around, which can be explored by taking assistance from local villagers.Caves are a bit challenging as they are narrow and dark at some places. You need to crawl to go through the caves. Without a guide it will be difficult.

Antara Gange
Antara Gange literally means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. Antarangange, also known as Antara Gange or Antharagange, is home to the famous Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple, which is a site dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction. The temple’s pond receives a continuous flow of water from the mouth of Basava, a bull statue, which can be found within the premises of the temple.

Lord Someshwara Temple Kolar
The Someshwara Temple in Kolar is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an ornate, 14th-century temple of national importance. The Dravidian style architecture is observed here especially through the tall, detailed brick and stucco structure that is placed over the entrance to the temple.The temple is carefully, exquisitely carved and is embellished with decorative mouldings of important symbols and animals.

Kolaramma Temple
Kolaramma Temple is more than thousand-year-old, Kolaramma temple resides at the town of Kolar. The deity of this temple, Kolaramma is worshipped as goddess Durga and the temple itself was structured by the Cholas in the Southern Style architecture. As per the locals, the royal family of Mysore made frequent visits to this place to get the blessings of the goddess. After closely observing the style of architecture, it can be made evident that the temple is built in the Dravida Vimana style of architecture with complex cravings made on the granite stones inside the temple.

Ronur Sri Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy Temple
Ronur is a Hobli village situated in Srinivasapura Taluk of Kolar region. There is a major and delightful Sri Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy Temple, developed several years back. The Sthala Purana says that Lord Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy was introduced by Arjuna when they were in Aranya Vasa. The Raja Gopuram was developed over 100 years back by Gollapalli Kesarla Ramaiah Setty's family (lives in Bangarpet, Kolar region). Till today Kesarla family's grandchildren and great grandchildren are managing the sanctuary.

Kurudumale Ganesh temple
Kurudumale was formerly known as “Koodi-Malai” which in Tamil means “meeting hill”. Therefore it is said that the Gods would come down from heaven to this spot, for a bit of fun and games, or recreation.The idol of Ganesha in the temple is believed to have been installed by the trimurthis -Brahma – The God of creation, Vishnu – The God of preservation and Maheshwara – The God of destruction. During the Satya Yuga, which is the first mythological era.

Avani Betta
It is a small village in the district of Mulbagal taluk in the Kolar. The Kolar gold Field is miles away from this location. Avani Betta is great for treks and even popular worship abodes are located to drive the tourists and archaeologists in the location time and again. Avani Betta is also known for the Sita Temple situated on the top hill of this area. This popular temple is dedicated to the Devi Sita.

Chikka Bangaru Tirupati( Guttahalli)
There is only one Tirupathi and that is in Andhra Pradesh but did you know that there are two other towns by the same name and with the same deity in Karnataka. These towns are Bangaru Tirupati and Chikka Tirupathi.The Bangaru Tirupathi temple has been closely modeled on the original Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati this temple is built on rocks and dates back to the period of Brigu Rishi. The peculiarity of this temple is that the darshan of the Lord is through a window with six holes in the sanctum.The hillock leading to the temple is about 40 metres in height. At the base the hillock is an image of Garuda, the Vahana or vehicle of Srinivasa.

Kotilingeshwara Temple
The Kotilingeshwara Temple lies in a very small village named Kammasandra in the Kolar district. The temple is famous for the largest and the tallest Shivling present in Asia. More than 2 lac devotees visit this temple every year. Maha Shivaratri is a special occasion and a large number of devotees make it a point to be there on this auspicious day.

Bytarayappana Betta
Byatarayapanna Betta is a small hill situated in Dodduru Karapanahalli, near Aaladamara town in the Kolar district of Karnataka. The hill consists of a shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is worshipped as Lord Bytrayappa. Legend says that Lord Venkateshwara from Tirupati had come to this hill for hunting. The word ‘Betae’ in Kannada language means hunting. Thus the deity came to be called Bytrayappa. The hill consists of a few caves which are said to have been used by humans in the ancient past.

Budikote
Budikote or the "Fort of Ash" is a small village situated in Bangarpet Taluk of Kolar District in Karnataka state of India.It has an old fort, It is also the birthplace of Hyder Ali, father of Tipu Sultan.

Markandeya Hill
This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the Chola period. The temple links with the prehistoric Markandeya purana. Markandeya is an ancient sage born in the clan of Bhrigu rishi. Mrikandu rishi and his wife Marudmati did not have any child for a long time. They worshipped Lord Shiva and sought from him the boon of begetting a son.
